“Our family rented the downstairs seated VR/Switch rooms for a private party and everyone (adults, teens, & little kids) had the best time! The only thing we would have done different was reserve it for more than 2 hours because it was so much fun! The staff was incredibly accommodating, the space was perfect, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We can’t wait for our next visit!”

The "Premium Arcade VR Stations" at arctic Sun VR are set up with a variety of games and experiences for guests to enjoy during their playtime at the arcade. Guests are able explore all of the different games and experiences on the Premium Arcade VR Stations directly from within their headsets. Single and Multiplayer options exist with some game on the Premium Arcade VR Stations hosting up to 8 players at a time. There are three different types of Premium Arcade VR Stations, Seated, Standing, and Room Scale, each with their own curated games list of 50-100 games.

All three of these experience types are different from one another. In the "Premium Arcade VR Stations," guests have access to many different games and experiences and can jump around from game to game at their leisure.

The two most popular Premium Arcade VR Station types are the Standing and the Room-Scale stations. While both types of stations operate in the same way, they offer distinct features catering to different preferences and space allowances.
The Standing Premium Arcade VR Stations offer over 75 different games and experiences for guests to choose from, designed for play from a fixed standing position. These stations are equipped with circular anti-fatigue mats, and players stay standing on these mats while enjoying their time in VR.
On the other hand, the Room-Scale Premium Arcade VR Stations boast a selection of over 100 different games and experiences, occupying a 10'x10' play area that allows guests to move around while playing VR. The Room-Scale stations have all of the same games as the Standing Premium Arcade VR Stations, plus an additional number of games that are only suited for larger play areas.

The Seated Premium Arcade VR Stations share similarities with the Standing and Room-Scale stations, with the key difference being the seated play style they offer. These stations come loaded with over 50 games and experiences, ready for guest enjoyment. Most of these games are designed to be played from a seated position, offering adventures like riding on the back of a dragon or a roller coaster ride through a Jurassic world, among others. The Seated Premium Arcade VR Stations are equipped with a comfortable 360-degree pedestal gaming chair and paired with an Xbox gaming controller, which can be optionally used on a number of games at these stations. Regarding pricing, one major factor offers a straightforward explanation: space. Since we incur rent costs for our space, the larger the space a station occupies, the higher the operational cost. Stations with a smaller footprint enable us to extend a more favorable price to our guests.

Yes, we offer several options to limit the selection of playable games for guests on the "Premium Arcade VR Stations". Each game in the Premium Arcade VR Stations carries an age rating, and we can tailor the available games based on the preferred age rating. Additionally, all games are categorized into specific genres like Combat, Shooter, Active, etc. Upon request, we can block content from specific genres from appearing in the launcher, ensuring a tailored gaming experience.

The Room-Scale VR Stations are unavailable during weekends as they occupy the same play area as the Free-Roam Arena. Transitioning the space from Room-Scale Stations to the Free-Roam Arena requires time and effort from our staff. To streamline operations and guarantee a smooth guest experience, we keep the Room-Scale VR Stations closed on weekends, ensuring the Free-Roam Arena is well-prepared and ready to accommodate reservations as well as walk-in guests.

The VR session for bookings concludes 5 minutes prior to the end of the reservation time, allowing our staff ample time to clean, sanitize the station, and prepare it for the next booking. On occasions where there isn't a booking immediately following, our staff members are often able to extend the VR time by a few additional minutes, providing guests with some extra gameplay time. We appreciate it when guests arrive 10-15 minutes before their booked time. Sometimes, early arrival allows us to kickstart their game time ahead of schedule, ensuring they have plenty of time to enjoy their VR experience.

All games within the "Premium Arcade VR Stations" are labeled with multiple genres, enabling guests to sort and filter games based on their preferred genre. Moreover, guests have the option to filter games by single or multiplayer. We also provide a search function within the VR headsets for added convenience. If guests have a specific game in mind, they can easily access the search bar, type in the game name, and if we have the game, it will appear in the search results. Guests can then launch the game directly from the search, making the game selection process smooth and user-friendly.

Certainly! We have a selection of games that are well-suited for family play or mixed-generation gaming. Some enjoyable multiplayer games that cater to a broad age range include Dick Wilde 2, Loco Dojo, Cookout, and Attack of the Bugs. A practical way to find other suitable games to play with your kids is by using the filters on the game selection screen within VR. It might be helpful to filter for "Multiplayer" and "Easy" to narrow down the options. While there's an option to select "For Kids," some of these games may not be as engaging for adults.
